HopCat is jumping into Hops Against Hunger in a big way this September. Each of the six HopCat locations in Michigan has designated one tap handle for hunger relief. All month long, $1 will be donated to the food bank serving that location’s community every time that tap is pulled.
It’s part of a program called FeelGood Tap, created by Batch Brewing in Detroit to connect breweries with local charities.
Last September, HopCat raised nearly $1,000 at the four locations then in operation. With Royal Oak and Kalamazoo officially open for business, the impact could be much larger.
