You can raise a glass and send a meal to a neighbor in need at Tri-City Brewing Company. On Saturday, October 14, the Bay City brewery will donate $1 to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan for every pint and growler they fill between 3 and 7 p.m.

The brewery is also encouraging patrons to bring a bag of nonperishable food to donate. Staff from the food bank will be there to chat about their mission and give away food bank swag. Plus, Barlow’s food truck will be on hand to meet your barbecue needs!

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is based in Flint and provides food to 415 local partner agencies in 22 counties. Every dollar they receive funds the distribution of six meals in the region.

Tri-City was founded in 2006 and opened its new Bangor Township taproom in 2016. You’ll find more than a dozen beers on tap, including their flagship Hell’s Half Mile Munich Helles Lager. Tri-City is located at 4170 Shrestha Drive.
