The Distant Whistle Brewhouse of Vicksburg will be donating $1 to the Food Bank of South Central Michigan for every pint of Equinox Pale Ale sold in September.

The catch: Equinox Pale Ale doesn’t go on tap until September 7. So until then, Distant Whistle will apply the donation to the bestselling beer of each day leading up to the release. They’ll also donate $3 for every growler fill of the bestselling beer.

Currently on tap are the Loch Ness Scotch Ale, the Eclipse Black IPA, the Backpacker’s Blonde, and more. Check out the full lineup on their website.

The Food Bank of South Central Michigan is based in Battle Creek and serves those in need in Kalamazoo County and seven other Michigan counties. In partnership with local partner agencies, they provide food to nearly 190,000 people each year.

The Distant Whistle is located at 118 S. Main Street in Vicksburg.
