Each month, Grand Rapids Brewing Company designates $1 from every pour from their “FeelGood Tap” to a chosen charity. This September, in honor of Hunger Action Month, the brewery has chosen Feeding America West Michigan.

September’s beer is a hazy double IPA called Hipster’s Paradox. Weighing in at 8% ABV and 79 IBUs, this beer doesn’t mess around. It was brewed with wheat and oats, is slightly hazy, and features tropical and juicy notes along with what the brewery describes as “an underlying chronic funk.”

“This beer reminds you to do what makes you happy, no matter what people think,” the brewery says.

This is the third FeelGood Tap fundraiser GRBC has held for Feeding America West Michigan. GRBC is owned by BarFly Ventures, whose Michigan HopCat locations are also taking part in Hops Against Hunger in support of the state’s Feeding America-member food banks.

Grand Rapids Brewing Company is located at 1 Ionia Avenue SW in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids.
